I arrived at work early (like I had learned to do) in order to catch myself a desk. I worked in a call center where we had more people than stations. We got written up for being late if we did not log in to a phone on time. However, with no desk, this was a nearly impossible feat. I finally got smart enough to arrive early, hover (which was not allowed), and spring on a desk when someone logged out. If you didn't do this (meaning if you arrived on time) you were very likely to not get a desk. Well, this time I guess more people had picked up on coming early. Even with a 20 minute head start, I could not find a desk. I walked the floor for an open station for half an hour after the start of the shift. After informing 2 managers (who reminded me I would be marked tardy for not being logged in) I literally left. I had not come to work planning to quit, but I just could not stand the policies anymore. I did not regret it at all.

P.S. I found a job that payed $2 an hour more about a week later. AND I had a dedicated desk only for me. ^_^ YAY!

I actually like B2st. I think they're the first group where I like the songs before I've even seen them on variety lol! I don't think they've been on much anyways?

I had my doubts about them since, they were promoted at a beastly idol group, and even their dance teaser kinda promoted that image, but their debut stage... I think one of my initial responses to it was "why so disco?" It was really pop-y, so I was kinda disappointed with that. But after listening it to a second time (muuuuuch later on), it grew on me. Of course, by then, Bad Girl was already done with its promotions (=A=;;)

Mystery is just as good too. I think now I'm gonna keep track with these promotions...


Okay, so, the one thing I don't get is why compare them to Big Bang and 2PM?

2PM I could see a little, because of the whole "beastly idol" title. But aren't they essentially from the same production company? Cube is the sister company of JYPE. That's like comparing Shinhwa to H.O.T. And besides the members of 2PM are friends with some of the B2st members, there's absolutly no rivalry between the two groups. and quite frankly, 2PM is still more beastly, and I mean that with my bias aside. B2st just is still a little too pretty to be beastly...

The Big Bang comparison really just confuses me the most... Why all of the sudden are they being compared to Big Bang...? They are like, from a completely different generation for one (not so much age-wise of course)...



So far, DooJoon seems to be my favourite since I'm more familiar with him than the other members after watching Hot Blood...
Plus, it's his part in Bad Girl that got me a little interested/made me remember the song
And, his appearance is so misleading (it's the eyebrows!). I thought he was some serious, man-of-few-words, tough kinda guy. Yeah... nope.

ha... I ended up watching the whole thing cos the perf I was waiting for was the LAST one...

1. JYP get off the stage please. Don't get me wrong. The song, I like. The dance, I even like. But it's painful to watch him perform... While it's admirable that he still wants to perform, produce, and promote his own music... srsly man. know when you are just too old for the market. If he were a ballad singer, he could stay on stage forever, and his performances would be timeless... But that's just not the case.

2. Marshmellow, and Bo Peep are REALLY annoying. I do sort of, shamefully, like Marshmellow though... Bo Peep is just a giant WTF

If SNSD thought their lolipop dance was embarassing, what does that make Bo Peep?? Oh srsly srsly, how do you go from rather sophisticated, mature women, to giant paws, sickenly cutesy girls? I really hate it when companies suddenly turn a girl group's original image to something really really cute. ugh.

3. I have no idea what happened at the ending bit of 2PM's perf. Junho jumps and then, (I'm not sure who), grabs him, and there's a bit of spinning... What the heck...

Admittingly, for a moment I thought it was going to be a jjit-Junho performance, and I got a little excited for that (=A=;;), but it turns out he was only ripping open his jacket, LOL. Damn it! He promised a jjit-performance by the end of this year!

4. 2PM winning! Hooray!

Am I prepared? Yes and no. I'm about as prepared as I was for my midterm for this class, and I managed to pull through that one alright. I think I'll do well though. The exam is multiple choise, true/false, fill in the blanks, and short answers. No essay makes me happy!

wow, I think I might have actually failed this course.
Before the exam I had a 58
The exam was worth 40% of my mark

I gave up a lot of easy marks, because I didn't know that the PROF's definition of short answer meant little jot notes on REALLY specific points. I thought it was just a question, and you write a paragraph on it. I thought I could bullshit my way through it. apparently not.

And I didn't even make it to a third page on my essay. Evidently I chose the wrong reading to base my essay on. I thought I'd have a lot to say on it, but not really. not really.

Shit am I ever screwed...

If I do end up REALLY failing the course (not failing in the ~asian~ sense, where we freak out over a 60), it won't really effect my year. I'm taking one more liberal studies than I need for this year. And, all my credits will still be in order. I'll just have to either take another English course or redo this one... Since I don't want to do Social Sciences.


Please end up with a 60 at least (;A;)





It's so cold in here!

Lately I've been wondering when my current mp3 player would die...
My first one, died just after a year (just in time for the warrenty to expire =_=;;). My current one I've had since the second semester of grade 11. So I've had it for about 2 years.

In the event that it should happen to die soon (I don't think it will though, I've been taking better care of this one)... I wanted to take a look at what Creative had to offer, otherwise I'd probably consider iPod.

The only thing that went wrong was that I didn't have the sense to go to the room before hand and make sure that there was a corner available... APPARENTLY THE ROOM HAS NO FREE CORNERS!

But it was able to stand on its own, and that's good enough!

It actually went pretty well...


But crap. I have to clean up my room now.

last week I found out that (because of daylight savings), I could watch Inki live. It starts around 4 o'clock there, and that's about 2 o'clock here. So I decided to watch it, usually up until the end of 2PM's perf, because well, the ending is the bit everyone's waiting for, just to see who does it! (And yes, last week's ending, my eyes almost popped out of my head. Didn't expect THAT.)

AGH! everything was going so well! I had a good connection, the quality was pretty good... I was in the middle of B2ST's perf, when I accidently closed the main tvants's window. AND EVERYTHING DISAPPEARED ;A;...

I tried to reconnect, when I did, I think it was TaeYang performing... But I kept getting cut off. So I had to find another channel... I was sincerally hoping that I wouldn't miss the perf, (not that it would matter since someone would upload it anyways...). I got connected to another channel, and CL and Minji were performing. AND THEN IT CUT OFF AGAIN. Something about the audio and video not being connected???

My final try, when I finally got connected, it was the end of 2PM's performance ;A;...
